Fleetwood Mashers
The Fleetwood Mashers are Ian Gartside and Dave Galbraith. They play guitars and sing (mostly) Lancashire material, occasionally assisted by John Bond. Scottish-born Dave has been based in Lancashire for many years; indeed he became Lancastrated years ago and is now an accepted member of the community. Local man Ian has been a famous folk-singer for over twenty-five years, but is still prepared to talk to ordinary folk (it says in this press release). Always performs without the aid of a safety net!
