Jon Harvison

Jon Harvison, from Keighley, Yorkshire emerged onto the folk music scene from an apprenticeship in the field of jazz/rock and is now a respected professional.

Jon's own songs include the memorable "Heavy Horses", "Castles in the Sand", "Falling" and "Dance With Me". His powerful, dynamic voice and his neat guitar work combine with his witty stories to produce an excellent evening's entertainment. He has played to folk clubs all over Britain and has performed at several festivals including Bedworth ,  Cleckheaton and Alcester and Arden.

In contrast to the self-penned content of previous releases, Jon's most recent album "Knight's Gambit" gives us his interpretation of some traditional songs, recorded at Oisiýÿn Studios by Steýÿafaýÿn  Hannigan and released on Offspring Records.
