Matt Armour loves Fleetwood and the Fylde Festival: there, he’s said it again, but it’s true. Fleetwood’s past resonates with his upbringing in a once-fishing town on the east coast of Scotland and the Festival just delights him.

A chance to meet up with old friends, too seldom seen, a chance to hear great music from all over the place and to bring his own songs to audiences who may not have heard them.

Add into that mix the odd jovial, late-night “craic” in the Marine Hall and you’ve got Matt’s idea of a perfect way to spend the weekend. There’s an idea – why not do it every weekend?
